Outdoor classes

Since the beginning of the pandemic, many classes have gone into virtual mode. This situation disrupts the habits of students but also… professors! In September and October, an initiative has been launched at the Université de Sherbrooke: open-air classes! 11 outdoor classes were set up and 57 teachers have been using them. According to a survey, the satisfaction is there! Students were happy to be able enjoying the clean air thanks to these arrangements. There are few comparable initiatives, which generates great interest from other universities in Canada. If the pandemic were to continue, these classes could last… except during the Canadian winter! 🙂
