Hachis parmentier
Last week, we had a conversation in the lab about the traditional dishes in our respective countries and/or regions. I mentioned the hachis parmentier and Riaz never heard about it. So I decided to cook one (in hallal version) for him and the rest of the lab. Hachis parmentier is ground beef marinated with carrots, tomatoes and onions, covered by creamy mashed potatoes.
