Acfas 2020 – Conference RNA
François Bachand and I are organizing a symposium as part of the 88th Acfas congress. This symposium entitled “RNA at the heart of cellular functions and at the basis of human diseases” addresses many questions related to RNA biology, including transcription, splicing, maturation and degradation of RNAs. The functions of several types of non-coding RNAs such as microRNAs or small nucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs) will also be discussed. In addition to addressing fundamental questions, the symposium will address the role of RNAs and RNA-binding proteins in certain human diseases through research projects on the biology of tumors and infectious diseases.
