COVID-19

Since March 13th, the Université de Sherbrooke (UdeS) is officially closed and we were asked to stay at home until further notice. The whole country is going under lockdown to minimize the deleterious effects of the pandemic and we do not know how long this situation will last.

This has already terrible consequences for my newly-established lab: no experiments performed for the students who just started their MSc or post-doc (= no data to analyze during the confinement), no expansion of our mouse colonies, cancellation of internship for international students coming in a few days (Camille Daviero), etc… We are not the only ones “in the same boat” and hopefully we can come back to the new normal very quickly…
